Justine's Bridal Shower

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I love being a host, and hosting Justine's shower was so special! We have the privilege of welcoming this sweet and wonderful woman into our family, so it's definitely cause for celebration! A couple of weeks ago (sorry so late on the post!) we put on a beautiful shower for Justine at The Weaver Hotel in Waterville! It is a beautifully restored historic hotel in the quaint little town, and the perfect setting for the rustic antique and lace shower!
I'm not one for taking all of the credit though - I believe in giving credit where credit is due! And truth be told, as much as I wanted to do everything myself (I know, it's the control freak in me...) I'm glad that my pregnancy forced me to reach out and ask for help. If I hadn't, the shower wouldn't have been nearly as beautiful or spectacular as it was! And I know I really couldn't have done any of it without all of the wonderful help I received from Joyce, Carolyn, Helen, Courtney, Dorothy and Jennifer! Joyce (mother-in-law) was amazing (as usual) and provided the yummy sandwiches for the event, and she helped coordinate with Chris, her friend who also happens to work at The Weaver. But she didn't stop there...no no... she opened her home to a wild bunch for the weekend, AND she fed us yummy food!! :P Carolyn did an AMAZING job with the decorations -- yes most of what you see there was the effort of Carolyn and Helen, two ladies I am lucky enough to call my family now, and soon Justine will be too! :) Courtney provided all of that yummy pink candy to coordinate with all the decor and satisfy everyone's sweet tooth (and all while also being preggo!!) :) My mom and sis (Dorothy & Jennifer) were an amazing help at home before the shower - helping with cupcakes, cake balls, packing all the shower stuff and driving with me out to the shower, and then bringing everything back afterwards and unloading it at my house for me! They also were a tremendous helping in setting up and cleaning up, as was everyone else mentioned here. Like I said, I couldn't have done it without all of their help! So THANK YOU!!! :D
Perhaps I should also give a shout out to Pinterest for being awesome and allowing us to easily collaborate on the theme and decor for this shower! :P Alright alright alright...I'll get to the pictures already!!! :P ...

And Shawna's face says it all (sorry Shawna, couldn't resist!) ... what a long day, but a great one!! :)
