Riley - Our Furry Baby & Weeks 28-29

So not really a lot of exciting things have happened the past week or so, but I thought I'd share more baby bump pics with y'all, as well as some pics of our precious furry baby, Riley. :P

Yep, she's getting bigger!! :) Only one week until my KC baby shower, I'm so excited!!! I'll post some pics of that afterwards :)

So I think our furry baby has been getting jealous of all of this attention this baby is getting, and she's not even here yet! So, I thought I'd post some pics of Riley, because of course she's adorable too ;) For those of you who don't know, she's a Puggle, which is a Beagle & Pug mix.

Baby Bump Pics - Weeks 22 - 27

Okay okay...I admit I've been HORRIBLE at keeping up this blog. So, below are some baby bumps pics from 22 weeks through 27 weeks. Tomorrow I'll be 28 weeks, so I'll try to keep it up after this. We have the baby's room set up with the big items: crib, dresser/changing table, and glider rocker. Darron has added shelves to the closet, and we're going through some of the clothes we've already got to wash and put away. It's getting more exciting!! My KC baby shower is in just a couple weeks, and my Waterville shower is in just over a month! Perhaps when we get the room more finished, we'll post some pics here. :)

For now, my ever growing belly...

Whoa, look at how much I grew between 23 and 27 weeks! This little girl is definitely getting bigger, and stronger! She moves around a lot, kicking and squirming...and I love every bit of it! Sure there are unpleasantries like how it's getting more and more difficult to bend over, how if I sit down on the floor, or in a deep cushy chair I have to have help to get back up, and of course how little energy I have these days, despite everything I have yet to accomplish! Oh yes, and the random bit of horrid morning sickness I got this morning, a day before 28 weeks. But, I am so excited for this little girl and I know it'll all be worth it! :D

Derek & Justine's Wedding & Gift Opening

Oh my, it has been almost 2 months since I last posted! Good gracious! Well, a LOT has been going on since we announced we're having a girl back in May! We attended Devin Griffee's high school graduation, we prepared for and attended Derek & Justine's wedding, I got laid off from my job, Jenn & I went to Elizabeth I convention, there was the 4th of July celebration... oh yeah, and all that time I've been growing a lil' girl inside of me. Busy busy! So let's try to catch up on a couple of those things, shall we?

Derek & Justine had a BEAUTIFUL wedding, seemingly right out of a fairytale book! It was a lot of work to prepare for, but so much fun! I'll post just a few pictures from the wedding here, but these are all courtesy of Jacqueline Kay Photography...

The day after the wedding they had a lunch and gift opening. I took some pictures for them...and of course I'm just going to post some funny ones ;) as well as a few of family :)

No...I don't think they have a little one on the way, I think Dusty & Kelley were just getting them back for a similar prank at their wedding gift opening. :) The last picture is Darron's gift to Derek. This is an old piece of walnut from the old barn with their "antler brand" logo on it.
