Hello! Allow Me To Introduce Myself...

So if you're viewing this blog, it's probably because you already know us. But just in case...let me tell you a little about our family!
My name is Angela, and I was raised in the suburbs of Kansas City, on both the Missouri & Kansas sides, but I claim Kansas as my home. I graduated from Olathe East High School in 2003 and went on to Kansas State University to pursue my degree in Interior Architecture & Product Design. I was fairly newly single and sincerely excited about college life, but then came Darron ruining all of my plans! :P Darron was raised on a farm in Waterville, KS and went to K-State for his degrees in Geology. We knew each other through his cousin, but we became friends, fell in love, and then got married in 2007! We both graduated with our Masters degrees in 2009 and moved to KC to find jobs.
Fast forward to today... we bought our first home in Gardner, KS and have been settling in over the past year, and we love it! We have an almost 4-year-old furry baby named Riley. She is a Puggle and pretty much the center of our universe (she wouldn't have it any other way!) But Riley is going to get a rude awakening in October when we introduce a new baby into the family...

Yep, we're expecting! We're due on October 3rd, and hopefully we'll find out the gender of the baby on May 16th, so stay posted! :)

So that's our lives in a nutshell, but life is getting ready to change drastically, and permanently (yikes!) for us, so feel free to stay connected as we experience pregnancy and parenthood for the first time!
