It's ...A.........

GIRL!!!

I know! Can you believe it? I still can't! I guess a mother's intuition is NOT always correct because I really thought we were having a boy! :P I am so ecstatic though! I've been thinking about the very special and close relationship that I have with my mother, and I am SO excited to be able to experience that special relationship with my own daughter! And OF COURSE I'm excited to buy her adorable little outfits and SHOES!! :P

 

Darron's reaction, you ask? Well, as I was thinking about the things I look forward to about having a girl, I exclaimed in excitement, "I'll get to do her hair! I have a little girl's hair to do, I'm so excited!" To which he responded, "Oh great, we'll never be on time again! ... not that we have a great track record now..." This comment made me laugh out loud for sure. Darron is in for a big surprise about girls! Not to say that this little girl will be all frilly and girly though. With her daddy's influence, she'll be digging in the dirt, playing with bugs, fishing and hunting! I'm sure Darron's already looking forward to buying her her first fishing pole, bow, and/or gun! :) And Riley is sure in for a big surprise! She thinks she's the only little girl that can wrap Daddy around her lil' [curly tail], but I know it won't take long before this lil' girl has Daddy wrapped around her little finger!

 

I can say with complete honesty that I am so excited to meet this little girl, whom I already love SO much! I can't wait to see what she looks like, get to know her personality, and watch her grow! For now though, I'm content watching my belly grow with her safely inside! I can't believe I'm half-way though this pregnancy already! Only 139 more days to go!!! :D
